A simple multiplayer game with basic client prediction. Supports up to 6 players!
Made within 3-4 days for the Palette Lock Jam!

I used TypeScript / JavaScript in the frontend and Golang in the backend to prepare for a job interview / trial day. Surprisingly the whole codebase is less than 1000 LOC.

Goal:
Destroy all other players by shooting them!
(You can only shoot once your previous projectile has been destroyed)

Controls:

  • WASD or arrow keys to move
  • Mouse aim + mouse button press to shoot

Known issues:

  • The simple physics system I implemented for this game is only simulated once per frame, which means that projectiles sometimes fail to register a hit
